Description

Secure your sensitive communications and files as easily as sending an email.

With the Mimecast Secure Messaging Service users can initiate secure email delivery right from their email client. And, policies can be configured by the administrator to be applied automatically at the gateway. You no longer need to use third-party applications or train users how to use secure communication systems external to their email.

Organizations need a method to communicate with external contacts that helps stop inadvertent or deliberate data leaks and protects information in transit. It needs to be simple and intuitive for the sender and recipient and have minimal IT overhead. Traditional approaches, such as Public Key Infrastructure or enforced server-to-server Transport Layer Security, create administrative burdens or client installation requirements. The Mimecast Secure Messaging Service helps solve these challenges by providing a user-friendly, cloud-based secure channel for sending and receiving sensitive information via email. Sensitive information never leaves the Mimecast Secure Messaging portal, but is facilitated by email.
